Piedmont Academy was established in 1970 as a non-profit, 501©3, accredited, independent, co-educational, college-preparatory institution educating students from pre-school through twelfth grade. The campus is located 60 miles southeast of Atlanta in Monticello, Jasper County, Georgia. Encompassing twenty-five acres, the campus consists of seven classroom buildings; an outside classroom; media center; cafeteria; a full-sized gymnasium including a band/music room, stage and weight room; a separate play area for elementary students; a football and soccer stadium; baseball and fast-pitch softball field with an outdoor covered batting and pitching practice area. The campus also has a 12,000 square foot activity building used for physical education which includes a gym, weight room, locker rooms, office, and conference room.
Piedmont is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges(SACS) ,AdvancEd and with quality by the Georgia Accrediting Commission. We are a member of the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA).
