Apogee Scholarship Fund has worked with private schools and contributors throughout Georgia since 2008 to expand educational opportunities for eligible students. Our goal is to provide responsive service, efficient program administration, and meaningful scholarship support to the communities we serve.

Apogee Scholarship Fund is a Georgia nonprofit Student Scholarship Organization dedicated to expanding educational opportunities for students throughout the state. We work closely with our partner schools to help maximize available scholarship resources and support families seeking educational options that best fit their children’s needs.

Partnering with Schools

Apogee values its schools as active partners in creating educational opportunities for Georgia students. We provide schools with responsive support, scholarship administration, donor communication resources, and tools to help strengthen participation within their communities.

Georgia Program History

Georgia’s Qualified Education Expense Tax Credit program was established in 2008 to help expand educational opportunities for students throughout the state. Since that time, the program has grown significantly, allowing Georgia taxpayers to support scholarships for eligible students attending participating private schools.


Apogee began serving schools and contributors when the program was established and has continued to grow alongside its partner-school communities.

Georgia establishes the Qualified Education Expense Tax Credit program, and Apogee begins serving schools and contributors.

Today
Apogee works with approximately 130 partner schools throughout Georgia and has awarded approximately $158 million in scholarships. Beginning in 2027, Georgia’s annual Qualified Education Expense Tax Credit program cap will increase to $150 million, creating additional opportunities for taxpayers to support scholarships for eligible students..
