The Friends School of Atlanta (FSA) offers a PreK3 through 8th grade values-based education that not only helps each child thrive as a student, but also empowers students with the conscience, conviction and compassion to actively engage in the world as peacemakers and bridge builders. Founded as a model of diversity in 1991, we are one of 78 Friends (or Quaker) schools nationwide and the only Friends school in Georgia. Beyond excellent academic preparation for high school and college, FSA provides a place for the discovery and use of individual voices and gifts. It teaches an active and informed sense of social responsibility and the experience of living and learning in a diverse community of equals. Beyond academic competence, students learn critical thinking skills and develop the ability to advocate for peace and justice. The values of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality and stewardship inform all aspects of the Friends school culture and curriculum.
